Bonda Cunningham is a Baltimore native, resident of NYC for 53 years. Graduate of Morgan State University and Columbia Law School. Has worked in a variety of fields including chemistry, systems analysis, film editing, law, and government and non-profit administration.
She has served on the Boards of Directors of the Children’s Art Carnival, the Center for
Employment Opportunities, Lawyers Alliance for NYC, the YWCA of Brooklyn and recently joined the board of the Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium. She is the widow of jazz bassist Bob Cunningham.
